The University is transitioning from the Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP). The Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection (SCEP) is the current recommended Antivirus/Malware application for University computers.

This document is written to assist with installing the Non-Manged client on University owned computers that are not on a Domain or that accesses sensitive data. In order to install Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection (SCEP), please follow the steps below: • Go to. Sharp ar p350 windows 10. • Download and run the Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection Non-Managed Client Installer. A Restart is Required for this install.
Click on Yes to allow access for the User Account Control (UAC) to install the client. Click on Next Click on I accept. Click on the radio button I do not want to join the program at this time. Click on Next Check the box If no firewall is on, turn on Windows Firewall (Recommend) Click on Next Click on Install By default the check box Scan my computer for potential threats ofter getting the latest updates is checked. Click on Restart Now Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10.
